Yo, Jesse here. I created the app.

This is an app I created to be able to play sports. I was tired of seeing empty basketball / tennis / volleyball courts, wanting to play, and wishing my friends were available. I didn't want to scour local websites for exclusive groups, pay for city run leagues, or have to dedicate a time slot of my life every week. I wanted something informal, functional, convenient, fun, without organizers, moderators, gate keepers ... A doorway and a window into The City .

Skill level and ranking is a very prevalent part of the app. I wanted it to be easy to find others who could push me to become better. I don't know of many greater privileges in life than to be able to perform and compete at the very highest of my abilities... Maybe some day tournaments? Awards? Sponsorships?

I have no financial backing, no investors or sponsors, no big businesses I'm working with. It's just me. There's no one I owe money to, which means I don't have to do what they tell me. I don't have to scam users. I don't have to sell data. I don't have to prioritize business or make any deals in the shadows.. I don't have to do anything at all, except what I feel like is right.

I want this app to be a gift. I'm thinking that eventually it will be able to generate enough money through the in-app store to keep it running, which hopefully eventually will have a bunch of awesome and cool stuff.
